He had been following some famous TCM masters including Professor Tiequ Chai (head of Acupuncture & Massage College), Professor Ji Lin (head of Chinese Herbs College). Jun had been practising with some of the best TCM doctors in the Toronto area. He is now a registered acupuncturist and registered TCM practitioner licensed by the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).
Recognizing the miracle of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) since childhood, Jun became interested in TCM many years ago. Traditional Chinese Medicine emphasizes balance and harmony. Instead of identifying the pathogens and developing weapons to kill them, TCM focuses on improving the internal environment. Once the room is clean, bugs and flies won’t like to stay in. Acupuncture, for example, does not have any medicine on the surface of the needles. However, once the needles inserted into the specific points on the body it can often dramatically improve the Qi (vital energy) movement along the body and influence the blood distribution in different organs and systems. Once the immune system wakes up, it often works better than medicines.
Jun believes in the old saying from the TCM bible(Huang Di Nei Jing)that the treatment of diseases must concentrate on the root cause. Jun had learned from several TCM masters about pulse checking, face reading, tongue checking, channel checking to ensure an accurate diagnosis. During his practice, Jun flexibly applied multiple TCM methods including acupuncture, Guasha, Tuina Massage, cupping, ear seeds, and herbs to obtain the best results. He pays attention to the details and patient’s feeling and always provides a unique treatment plan for each individual based on the syndrome differentiation.
Jun is good at various pain management (such as migraine, arthritis, sciatica, lower back pain, stiff neck, heel pain, knee pain, frozen shoulder etc.). He often selects remote acupoints (away from the pain area) to effectively relieve the pain immediately. He is expertise in digestive disorder, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, fertility and pregnancy issues, and more conditions. He had treated hemiplegia patients and got amazing results in the past years. He also helped cancer patients to prolong the life span and significantly improved life quality. His rich knowledge and experience on the application of traditional Chinese herbal medicines often achieve surprising results in the clinic. He proudly owns a complete herbs storage in Kingston area.
